Delivery Policy:

We are putting a great effort to despatch all orders purchased from us before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same day. Standard 48 Hour postage is usually offered free of charge on all orders over £50 Including UK Vat. We also offer Premium 24 Hour Next day postal service for urgent deliveries, the details and cost of which are described below.

In stock items ordered before 1pm (UK Mainland) will be delivered in 2-3 Working Days or Next Working Day where applicable. Responsibility for ownership of the goods passes to purchaser once we have delivered them. Unless otherwise advised, delivery will be made by Royal Mail, within normal business hours. A signature at the customer's address will be required if tracked service is used. The charge for delivery will be shown at the final checkout stage before final submission. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery times or dates. The delivery charge shown is a standard charge and does not constitute a guarantee of delivery date from the time you have placed an order. All delivery times and dates are subject to stock availability and potential backlog. Unfortunately, we can in no circumstances compensate for delayed orders.

AV Sonic Ltd reserves the right to change this policy and charges for delivery (including imposing charges on orders not yet placed and accepted by us) at any time and to pass on any associated extra charges imposed on it. We reserve the right to raise a delivery charge in the amount notified to the customer prior to despatch for delivery of heavy and/or sizable items.

All deliveries will be made to the address specified by the customer. We may use any method of delivery which is available to us. We will do our best to meet delivery and/or performance estimates but, in no circumstances shall we be liable to compensate the customer for non-delivery, non-performance, late delivery or performance. 

Please note: We will not be liable for any non-delivery of goods purchased from us or non-performance of our delivery services unless verbal or written notice is given to us or an e-mail sent to us within 7 days of the date when purchased goods should have been delivered or delivery service performed in the usual course of events.

We may reserve the right to delay or cancel despatch for a number of reasons, including to perform any necessary credit or anti-fraud checks and/or procedures as well as to ensure that the customer's payment has been received in full. If despatch is delayed due to the reasons described above, we will do our best to inform the customer as soon as possible.

Returns Policy:

When you purchase goods from us over the phone or online (Online and Distance Selling) you have the right to cancel the order or return faulty product/s as soon as you contact us within 14 days of receiving your complete order, under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (the regulations), which came into force on 13 June 2014.

When buying the goods and paying over the counter of our shop, refunds will only be offered within 7 days of VAT Official Receipt of the original order from us. Please bring back purchased goods you wish to return to our store. You only don’t have to produce the original copy of your VAT Official Receipt if you are a registered customer and we have your details on our internal database. In instances where cash was paid for goods on premises over the counter of our shop and we don’t have your details on our internal database, the original copy of your VAT Official Receipt must be present. We can offer an exchange or a credit note within 14 days of purchase.

All items must be returned to us in their original condition and should not show any signs of use, alteration and/or damage.

This policy may not apply to special order products or bespoke goods (e.g. Specific CCTV Equipment or obsolete Pro Audio Gear). Some electrical/electronic products are covered by a manufacturer's minimum six months to one year return to base warranty.

Refunds can only be made by the method originally used to pay for the goods. Credit/debit card refunds will be processed immediately, once we have received the goods back and inspected them. It can take up to 14 days for the funds to show on the customer's account. Goods that have been altered from their original condition in any way cannot be returned. Goods cannot be returned as faulty where a specific defect in the product was brought to the attention of the customer at the point of sale. The customer has a duty to take reasonable care of the products while in their possession and during the cancellation period to maintain them in the condition in which they were supplied by us. If goods are damaged or use of the goods has gone beyond the right to reasonably inspect and assess the goods, we reserve the right to seek recompense.

The customer has a duty to re-package any returned goods in such a way as to avoid any damage to the goods whilst in transit back to us. If the original packaging is not used, the goods must be packaged in such a way that provides the same or equal protection as the original packaging. Please keep all the original packaging for your item/s until you have decided to keep the goods. Please note that additional charges may be applied for items returned without their original packaging. Please send the item/s securely wrapped and in a carton box with adequate packaging to protect the item/s to prevent any damage while in transit. We cannot accept responsibility for any goods that are damaged due to poor packaging, and your return may be refused or refund reduced if items are not appropriately packaged. If this duty to pack the returned goods in an adequate manner is not met, we reserve the right to return the goods to the customer or to seek recompense.


If we are informed of any damage more than 24 hours after delivery, we may not exchange or refund for the damaged items and we may not be able to claim from the courier.

Faulty goods will be replaced inside 14 day period from the date we receive them back from you. Any goods thought to have breached the conditions set out by Consumer Rights Act 2015 will be replaced or refunded inside 14 day period from the date we receive them back from you. However it can take up to 28 days from the date we receive faulty goods back from you, if these particular product/s will be repaired by us or by the manufacturer. The goods we receive must be in their original condition and should not show any signs of use, alteration and/or damage as well as any faults inflicted by the buyer due to misuse of the purchased product/s.

If you wish to cancel your order or return goods back to us please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order either by email, by phone or by post. If any product you purchase on this website is faulty (received damaged or with shortages), then return the item to us within 7 working days after reporting the fault, damage or shortage and we will provide a full refund or exchange. We recommend that you use a recorded/signed for delivery service. Unfortunately, we cannot compensate and/or refund you any costs for return postage and packaging or any other charges of return postage incurred.
